Значимой работой Банга стали съемки в драматической картине «Квадрат» Рубена Эстлунда в 2017 году. Ему досталась главная роль Кристиана, который работает куратором в музее современного искусства и участвует в подготовке к выставке под названием «Квадрат». Мужчина состоялся финансово, имеет за плечами брак, развод и двоих детей. Однажды у него украли кошелек и мобильный телефон. Для поиска гаджета он использует специальное приложение, которое указывает ему на бедный район Стокгольма.
