Hello! I am 35 years old and a week ago I underwent circumcision due to phimosis. The intervention went quickly without any pain or discomfort. The next day after the check-up, my doctor prescribed me ciprofloxacin pills, gentamicin ointment, and potassium permanganate. He told me to drink them every 12 hours and in the morning and evening to take a bath in a light solution of k. permanganate then use the ointment. Send me with an order if there are complications to call him and then we broke up. My questions to you are: since there is no infection, is there a danger that by applying the ointment, some bacteria will become resistant to the antibiotic and cause an infection Is it possible to replace it with another drug such as rivanol? The sutures have already begun to fall off or rather to decompose, but the swelling around the seam is still large. Is there a cure which one could i use to drop faster? Regarding painkillers, although I insisted, I was not prescribed anything. That's why lately I spend my nights reading a book because during an erection the stitches stretch quite tightly which causes sharp pain. If you can recommend me some painkillers (without analgin because it does not work), either during the day or at night I will be infinitely grateful.

My advice is to follow the doctor's instructions and not someone you don't know from the internet. Resistance does not develop so easily. An antibiotic must have been used many times to achieve this! Success!
