The greatest rapper The Notorious BIG (Biggie) lived a short but colorful life. Christopher's second compilation, prophetically titled Life After Death, was released 2 weeks after the rapper's death. XL magazine described the difference between the albums as the distance between a street vendor 'dope' and a drug lord. " The autobiographical lyrics of both albums characterized the author as an excellent storyteller, using unusual and bold rhymes.

In August 1993, Wallace's girlfriend gave birth to the rapper's daughter, Tiana. Although Christopher broke up with his girlfriend a few days before giving birth, he gave the newborn his last name and dreamed that his daughter would receive a decent education. At the end of October 1996, Christopher and Evans had a son named after their father. In the 2009 film "Notorius", dedicated to the biography of The Notorious BIG, Christopher Wallace Jr. played the father. The role of the adult Biggie was played by rapper Jamal Woolard. The biopic starred actors Angela Bassett, Derek Luke, Natari Noughton.

Since 1994, Wallace has also been in a romantic relationship with hip-hop singer, Junior MAFIA singer Kimberly Denise Jones (Lil 'Kim), who later became the face of the Versace and Dolce & Gabbana brands. Kim had an abortion from Biggie.

Wallace was arrested several times (mainly drugs and to a lesser extent fights were the reasons for the incidents) and got into car accidents. The performer was friends with basketball player Shaquille O'Neill, and Christopher's relationship with rapper Tupac Shakur turned from friendship into hatred and enmity. In June 2019, a section of New York's St. James Place was renamed Christopher Wallace Passage. The opening ceremony was attended by the rapper's son and daughter. In Miami's Little Haiti area, there is a mural based on a photo of Biggie.
