Noboa continued to play for the Kazan club, holding the leading position. In the summer of 2018, it became known that Noboa and Romanova had divorced. As it turned out, the couple broke up back in 2016, but hid the fact from outsiders.

In October 2018, Romanova's followers on Instagram noted candid photos of the beauty and rushed to condemn Olga, because at that time Noboa was experiencing not the best moments in his life: the athlete injured his knee. But Christian reassured the fans by writing that he maintained a warm relationship with his ex-wife.
