Biography
Chris Carmack grew up in the suburbs of Rockville, Maryland. In high school, his attention turned to the theater. Passionate, he gives his all and works on three productions a year, not to mention his participation in many festivals. He then enrolled at New York University to earn an Arts degree. During his studies in the Big Apple, he was spotted by a talent scout who offered him to become a model. The young man then poses for many campaigns. After two years in New York, Chris Carmack decides to go to Los Angeles under the encouragement of a teacher to try his hand at acting. There, he took some acting lessons and he shot about fifty commercials. In 2003, he landed the role of Luke Ward in Newport Beach and thus gave the reply to Ben McKenzie, Mischa Barton and Adam Brody. He will, however, leave the series after the first season.
After an appearance in Smallville, Chris becomes Jason Masters, a rock star, in Love on the Ride, a romantic comedy starring Amanda Bynes, before playing Susan's cousin (Teri Hatcher) for an episode of Desperate Housewives . He then goes on to play small roles in different series, and is illustrated in The Butterfly Effect 3, the third film of the franchise, released directly on DVD in France but also Shark 3D and Bleu d'enfer 2. In 2013, the actor was chosen to play Will Lexington, a gay country singer, in Nashville, the opportunity for him to play opposite Connie Britton and Sam Palladio. While his character was initially not intended to stay on the show, he was promoted to regular starting in Season 2 and will remain there until his cancellation. In parallel, Chris also launches out in the song and leaves in 2015 an album entitled "Pieces Of You", for which he composes and writes the 5 titles which constitute it.
As soon as the series stops, the young man puts on the blue gray-Sloan Memorial Hospital blouse, for season 15 of Gray's Anatomy. He plays the new “god of ortho”, Lincoln “Link” Atticus, an attractive doctor with many assets who will try to capsize the stony heart of Meredith Gray (Ellen Pompeo).
