The Magnificent Five and Potap are the very same Ukrainian trash Mozgi, the main emphasis in the work of which, according to the participants' own admission, is placed on boundless space, woven from honest male stories.

The project is constantly experimenting with styles, not hesitating to mix electronic music with folk motifs, supplying them with the wildest texts and releasing clips to match them.

In the summer of 2014, the music world learned about the new boy band, which presented to the audience the debut track about the end of love "Ayabo". The names of the soloists, however, were initially kept secret.

Until the release of the first video, the public was intrigued by rather restrained information - independent and already established artists were involved there. Who exactly, what they look like and what's next - did not spread, which, perhaps, Stirlitz himself would envy.

As soon as the incendiary video (some of those who watched gave the dance the name "Bees bit me") became available to the general public, the secret was revealed.

The line-up consisted of: Potap, known for his duet with Nastya Kamenskikh, Positive (Alexey Zavgorodniy) from Time and Glass, where he performs with Nadia Dorofeeva. Plus Uncle Vadya, aka Vadim Fedorov, who was engaged in both solo work and joint work with other projects. All, except for the almost Chekhovian character, are from Kiev.

It would seem that each of them has already revealed their singing potential in the named groups - why was another one needed? The producer and creator of "Brains" Alexei Potapenko answered this question and about the history of creation in various interviews:

By the way, in this he is not dissembling. Bend both looks brutal and pursues brutal concepts in his own creative universe - they added Formula 1 and the discussion of women to the above activities. Over time, three more organically joined the company: DJ Bloodless, Ed and Rus. The six of them set out to storm the sophisticated musical Olympus.

No one, except the members of the project, will give a better definition of their own creativity. Without recognizing any boundaries in the compositions they create, they also do not resort to pre-existing musical terms and definitions.

"Brains" are produced at Mozgi Entertainment - a center that appeared in 2008 and was conceived as the family business of Potap and his ex-wife Irina Gorova. According to the woman, this is the main secret of success.

Today it is already a well-promoted brand, which includes other areas: a bar, a fashion store, a studio, etc. He is also ready to provide services for holding and organizing event-events.

In 2015, the group turned out to be generous with albums, releasing 2. However, the first collection contained only 5 songs, which later migrated to the second, consisting of 21 tracks. Among them, the most memorable are the imperatively convincing "Love you" and, of course, "Ayabo", the clip for which gained over 15 million views by 2018.

The next year, "Policemen" appeared, coming close to the indicators of the number of people who watched the aforementioned video. But 2017 came, which gave the world an incomprehensible dance mega-hit "Atyatya", which sat in the head and did not allow forgetting the simple text about the aunts. He set a new record for "Brains" on YouTube.

By the way, at first it was announced that the soloists would appear in public exclusively in black attire. But something went wrong, perhaps it became not very practical, and they tried on other colors for themselves - white, red, yellow.

From 2015 to 2018, Brains received 5 nominations for the Yearly Ukrainian National Awards and 4 for the M1 Music Awards, winning the latter twice.

In 2018, the fifth album "Brain Removal" appeared, where listeners got acquainted with the recordings of their favorite songs from concerts. It seems that in the video for the serene summer "Wet Beach Movement" you can see the largest number of slender and sultry beauties. Or rather, their rear inflated body parts.

After the guys released the single "Polyube", on the set of the video for it Potap followed the example of the great Freddie Mercury and fellow countryman Andrei Danilko, reincarnated as a woman. However, the story itself is about the distant future, when the work of the collective will become public.

Now the group gives performances in their homeland in Ukraine, gathering full halls and driving loyal fans to madness and constant dances. In Russia, she appeared only once - at the St. Petersburg VK Fest-2016.

It seems that "Brains" are everywhere, on all social networks. On Instagram, Facebook, VKontakte, detailed photo reports from the tour and constantly updated branded products (T-shirts, hats, bracelets, sneakers, phone cases) are published, which are easy to purchase in the online store.
