Beware Of Temptations

The Story

Hello. Is it possible for someone to explain to me what today's temptations of time are and how far we can avoid them in order to live in peace with ourselves. I am so misled by everything I see and like, despite the resistance in me. There are some things that if you do not imitate, you are not very literate or you are seen as another category of person. My question is, can we be modest even though we have opportunities? Can we not look only at ourselves, but help a little with a joint effort to get out of the mud in which we are immersed? What is this arrogance, this malice, this arrogance? Everyone is looking to register and point out what kind of car there is, what kind of phone, what kind of woman or man and things like that? I am surrounded only by such things and I do not see how to find peace of mind for my views. But that also changes me, after all, I want to be underestimated. For example, in the company where I work, all the women look good, look like flight attendants, even though they are secretaries, with expensive shoes, expensive bags and suits, and everyone brags. It is not malice on my part and I am headed there. Even the adults in the company advise us to dress sexy out of self-respect and to attract customers. And it's not just here. The Internet and these sites have become the best. Do we have to be modest to some degree? I have friends who are in a beauty salon every day and fix their hair, some facials, nails and so on and are generally powdered from head to toe. Of course, I don't like them, because it's a waste of valuable time to be narcissistic. Women tend to look cheap because they want to be cool, but only in appearance. Everyone strives to look good, to have something new in his life and that's how life goes. Am I the only one surrounded by such people or am I in the wrong environment? F 27
