By the way, Barun also earned his first money in his youth - when Sobti was 16 years old, his girlfriend Pashmin Manchada invited the boy to her birthday. Barun had no money, so he turned to his older brother, who works at the Tata car dealership, for help. Barun's first job was to dismantle the car for parts with their subsequent transportation to the warehouse. For this Sobti received 2,000 rupees, which he was incredibly happy about.

After school, Barun went to university to study management, on the instructions of his father. The study is not going very smoothly, but after receiving the diploma, I manage to get a job at the prestigious company Jindal Telecom. Sobti worked in it for six years, after which he decided to quit.

His parents considered it a stupid idea to quit a prestigious and highly paid job, but Barun's friends, actors Karan Vakhi and Priyanka Bassi, knew how much he loved creativity. It was they who brought Barun Sobti to television. The producers liked the young twenty-six-year-old guy.

Sobty's first appearance on the screen took place in 2009. It was the Shraddha TV series, which soon closed due to low ratings. Barun's first full-length debut took place in 2013. It was the melodramatic comedy Me and Mr. Right. The tape failed at the box office, but under the contract, Sobti had at least two more paintings. Disappointed in his accomplishments, Barun returns to television to re-try on the role of Arnav in the new season of "What to Call This Love." Later, the actor will appear several more times in full-length films - "Dry Dreams" (2015) and "Loves, Does Not Love" (2016), but in subsequent interviews he will claim that Indian serials brought him real fame.

Newspapers often ascribe romances to Barun with their colleagues on the set (Sanaya Irani, Ankita Sharma, Shahana Goswami) and fans, but this is not true.
