The career of this charismatic actor and showman began on the Kaveen scene. In this team, together with his brother Ararat, Ashot plays two brilliant seasons, winning two city championships in a row.

Then the guys were taken to the Big Sochi national team: with this team they won the Start KVN league in 2001, and in 2002 they became semi-finalists of the KVN Northern League.

The game and the achievements of the Keshchyan brothers were noticed in Moscow and included in the RUDN University team, which made its debut in the Major League in 2003. From that moment on, Ashot's creative career has been moving upward. Thanks to his natural charisma, the Armenian immediately became a key player and a favorite of the public.

In addition to a sparkling sense of humor, Ashot showed himself as a talented vocalist, which allowed him to contribute to the team's victories at the KVN music festivals in Jurmala and Sochi. The national team has become a laureate of various festival awards more than once. But I had to fight for the champion title for 3 years. Only in 2006, the RUDN University team became the champion of the Higher League of KVN, after which it completed participation in the games.

Over the years spent in the Higher League, Ashot became a performer of a number of numbers that were included in the KVN golden fund: "Enchanted", "The UmaTurmyan Brothers", "Ashot's House", "Ashot's Wedding" and others.

In their post-Kavan careers, Ashot and Ararat became welcome guests on various TV shows - "Blah-blah show", "Out of the game", "Fight club". The guys also got acting experience: from 2009 to 2011 they starred in the popular sitcom "Univer" - they played the brothers Ashot and Artur Mikaelyanov.
