Biography
Ashley Benson has been an artist from a young age. From 3 years old, little Ashley learns hip-hop and jazz dance and is part of several choirs of which she has already become the "star". She began modeling at 5 for catalogs and the Ford agency hired her when she was only 8 years old. In 1999, at age 10, Ashley wanted to become an actress and appeared in commercials before getting noticed by television. She began her acting career in 2002 in the Nikki, Washington Police and At the White House series.
These roles allow Ashley to land in 2004 a 3-year contract to play the character of Abigail "Abby" Deveraux in the series Days and Lives. The actress therefore plays this role for 3 seasons; his performance is noticed, which opens the doors of the cinema to him. After a small role in 30 years or nothing in 2004 where she gives the answer to Jennifer Garner, the actress obtains the main role in American Girls 4 in 2007 alongside Jennifer Tisdale. Ashley plays a vertigo-prone cheerleader who has to face her demons to put on a show.
The Long Beach native is very active on television; we can see her in 7 at Home, CSI: Miami, Supernatural, The Mysteries of Eastwick or Pretty Little Liars. In "Eastwick" in 2009, Ashley plays Mia Torcoletti, the daughter of Roxie Torcoletti (Rebecca Romijn). This role established its popularity which reached a new level the following year with "Pretty Little Liars". The actress shines in the skin of Hanna Marin, the most popular girl in her high school.
In 2012, we find Ashley in a bikini ... at the movies in Spring Breakers by Harmony Korine. In this crazy film, the actress plays Brit, a sassy student who decides to rob a fast food restaurant with her friends (Vanessa Hudgens, Rachel Korine and Selena Gomez) to pay for a stay at Springbreak in Florida.
