Artsvik Borikovna Harutyunyan is an Armenian singer, participant of the Russian “Voice 2” TV competition, a representative of Armenia at Eurovision-2017.

The future singer was born on October 21, 1984 in Armenia, in the city of Kapan. Five years later, the Harutyunyan family moved to Moscow. In the capital of Russia, Artsvik attended a mathematical school. At the age of 8, the girl was impressed by the soundtrack to the film "The Bodyguard", and Whitney Houston became a musical idol for Artsvik.

After graduating from a ten-year school, at the insistence of her parents, she chose the profession of a children's speech therapist and entered the Moscow State Pedagogical University. Artsvik has not been professionally involved in music for a long time, but her voice always sounded at home celebrations. After graduating, Harutyunyan worked for a long time in the tourism business, helping her father, and then began her own career. This time, after performing the songs of Ukrainian singer Gaitana "I breathe you" and Pink "Crazy" before the jury, Artsvik got into the blind audition tour. The girl's joy knew no bounds. In order to become a representative from Armenia, Harutyunyan appears in the Armenian television show "Depi Evratesil", where he becomes the winner. Having received the highest assessment of her work from her compatriots and enlisting the support of the audience, the singer becomes a candidate for participation in the Eurovision-2017 contest, which will be held in Kiev.

On March 18, 2017 on the First TV Channel of Armenia the premiere of Artsvik's song “Fly with me” took place. The singer announced the competitive selection of a musical composition in advance in 2016. Of all the songs, a work by authors Levon and Lilit Navasardian and their co-authors - Aveta Barseghyan and David Tserunyan was chosen. The very performance of the Armenian delegation will take place on May 9 in the first semi-final of the competition. Artsvik's rivals will be musicians from Europe and the former republics of the USSR.

For several seasons in a row, the European competition has attracted viewers not so much with musical achievements as with all kinds of scandals related to the participants in the competition. Today, all the public's attention is focused on participants from the former CIS countries, which is associated with the instability of Russian-Ukrainian relations. A few months before the competition, Russia's application for participation in the competition of the singer Yulia Samoilova was rejected. In 2006, at the wedding ceremony of relatives, Artsvik Harutyunyan met a young man named Harutyun. For the photo shoot, the bride chose 5 dresses, two of which she ordered from the Russian designer Svetlana Lyalina.

Now the singer is preparing to perform in the competition, which will take place in May 2017. But the question of the participation of the Armenian representative in the competition still remains open, since the SBU has not yet published the results of its check of Artsvik Harutyunyan for visiting Crimea.
