At the end of the second autumn month, October 26, 1994, Odessa was replenished with a new resident - Sergei Shadkov and his wife Irina had a son, Artur. In the mid-90s, "in a difficult time of instability and change", terrible crime reigned all around, denying any civilized framework and ways of solving problems. Arthur, returning to his homeland, at the age of 14, began to engage in Thai boxing. Maxim Mozharov forcibly did not drag his stepson, who was fond of tennis and swimming, to the martial arts club he founded, but managed to interest him.

From time to time on his personal page on the social network "Instagram" pictures flashed with close people - his mother and the only younger brother, in whom the MMA fighter does not like.

At first, Arthur was engaged in Thai boxing at an amateur level, differing already in his debut competitions. Strength of mind, lack of fear, control of emotions and cold calculation helped the guy to become the silver medalist of the Ukrainian Thai Boxing Championship in the category up to 65 kg in 2011.

In 2013, he took 2nd place in the European Karate Championship in the full contact version of irigumi-go. And after a couple of years, he had no equal at the main tournaments of the country in Muay Thai and full contact karate.

In 2014, a professional career began as an athlete in mixed martial arts under the pseudonym Askar Mozharov. Meetings with Ustim Slobodyan, Andrey Karasev, Serafim Nasirov (twice), Alexei Kaliverda, Alexander Atamanyuk and Mikhail Kosarin invariably ended with the triumph of the Odessa citizen.

And this is an impressive result, considering that the opponents were Abel Mortel Madina, Yichuan Wang and others. The turning point of that period is considered to be the fight with Cheik Kone on May 30, 2018 at Rebel FC 8 A Warrior's Return, which ended at 58 seconds.

2019 turned out for the representative of the middle and light heavy weight categories, nicknamed No Mercy, as sad as 2017: Eder de Souza and Christian Torres were stronger.
