Arthur's childhood was spent in Moscow, on forbidden radio stations (including the Voice of America) there were invariably the Beatles, Rollings and Led Zeppelin. Already at school, the teenager was a member of a local ensemble, and first dreamed of trying himself as a drummer. But, according to him, a voice suddenly cut through, and it seemed inappropriate to combine singing and drums.

The guitar was used, purchased for unthinkable money - 6 rubles 50 kopecks. The head of the family did not interfere with the child's hobbies, although he believed that the opera deserved more to be studied. This influenced the further choice of Arthur, who graduated from the famous "Gnesinka" and became a specialist in the field of classical vocals. In addition, the Mikheevs respected cooking very much - the youngest son became a cook, and the older son had a special school behind him.

Mikheev started his professional musical career in his youth, at the age of 19, in "Magic Twilight", but soon he left the band, moving to "Autograph". It was here that he was awarded the bird pseudonym, which was later recognized not only by the whole country, but also abroad. The musicians managed to become the only Soviet group that managed to make it to the Live Aid festival.

In the early 90s, not only the USSR collapsed, but also the project. Berkut, having tried his hand at the domestic "Rococo", often flew to the United States, where he was taken under their wing by local ZOOOM and Siberia. The guy even "took" his colleagues to Russia and formed "Tsar" (TSAR). The team produced only one collection, then everyone, except for Arthur, returned overseas. He also began to fruitfully cooperate with Tref, Master and Mavrin.

In the 2000s, a bold attempt was made to bring back to life "Autograph", in the name of which was listed the number 21 in Roman spelling. But the business was not crowned with success, and the group was transformed into "Berkut". And then there was "Aria", where Valery Kipelov was replaced by Artur Mikheev.

With his arrival, new features appeared in the project - show with dressing up and wild dances. Fans, however, reacted to this "revolution" differently. Someone appreciated the acquired drive, others advocated the usual restraint.

The last time in the "Aria" Berkut performed on the last summer day of 2011. Due to irreconcilable musical differences, he had to leave the project. Over the next few years, former colleagues sorted out their difficult relationship in court.

Mikheev created his own project of the same name, which became famous for the hit "Birches". His discography in 2019 contains several albums (his debut one is "Winners are not judged" after two EPs). Despite this, the collective did not indulge in clips, the first was recorded in 2014 for the song "Dream". Also, the performer is now busy with "Heaven".

The singer is also known for actively collaborating with many bands. For example, with "Slot" he recorded together "Street of Roses", with "Moral Code" - "New Year's Moscow". There was also a place for joint work with sports commentator Dmitry Guberniev.

Despite all heavy metal and its inherent trash and frenzy, created on stage, in his personal life Arthur Berkut is an attentive husband and caring father. Talking about meeting her future spouse, Oksana Mikheeva called this meeting nothing less than mystical and predetermined.

At first, the girl was a devoted listener to "Autograph" and was very distressed when she learned that the guys, as the media wrote at the time, "fled over the hill." Then, in her first marriage, knowing the joy of motherhood, she endowed her son with the name Arthur - in honor of the idol. At this time, Berkut is happily married to an American citizen.
