Aram Apetovich Asatryan is an Armenian singer, pop star, author of the hit "Bales". On November 7, 2006, being invited to the celebration in Oshakan, the singer was in a good mood. Aram arrived from the USA a week ago and was preparing for the presentation of the latest album "My sons". Nothing foreshadowed a tragedy, the artist was preparing for a tour of Russia and Europe. At some point in the evening, Asatryan lost consciousness. Those present immediately called doctors. The ambulance arrived and stated death, which was caused by a heart attack.

The untimely death of the musician was a blow to his family and friends, as well as to fans, among whom rumors soon spread that the musician had been killed. But in reality, Aram had a heart attack. The family had to fly to Armenia from the United States as soon as possible.

The funeral took place in the singer's hometown of Etchmiadzin. Aram Asatryan's grave is located in the cemetery of the Zvartnots Temple.

After a grievous loss, the father's business was continued by his sons, who in several years prepared 300 previously unreleased songs by Aram Asatryan. Clips were shot for the musical compositions "Bales", "Krunkner", "Masis", "I am an Armenian".

In 2013, a museum in memory of Aram Asatryan was opened in the musician's homeland, and a street named after Aram Asatryan appeared in the city of Echmiadzin. On April 17, 2017, the wedding of Aram Asatryan's granddaughter, Nvard Asatryan, took place in Los Angeles.
