What do you think of an apartment on the first floor above shops / restaurants I'm talking about those who have larger terraces than the upper floors. I like such large terraces, it's almost like being in a house with a small yard (ordinary houses have such mini gardens). I worked in one and there were no problems. We even had a nice view (the block is on a hill and there are no big blocks nearby, there are only houses). We also had sun during the day respectively. On one side we had sunbeds, chairs and tables, on the other to the street nothing, but the terrace was still large. The bad thing is that in BG and especially here in Sofia everything has been rebuilt en masse and you can take the view and the sun on a low floor. What is your opinion? I think that such apartments with balconies above the ground floor with shops are rare, but I prefer them because of the large terraces.

This summer we bought an apartment in Veliko Tarnovo. On the tours we saw several apartments above shops. One was very nice and with the lodgers still inside it. They told us how until recently there was a shop under them and the air conditioners roared ugly. At that point, the store had moved and the room was for rent, so it was super quiet. We did not decide to take a risk over the store, regardless of whether there is a nice terrace or not. We bought an apartment on the third floor in a building that also has shops on the ground floor. The neighbor has used the roof over the shops and there really are thousands of flowers, it looks like an oasis, but everyone throws their face on her flowers.
