Homie is a very young project that started in 2013, but during this time managed to attract the close attention of a large number of listeners and viewers. Under the pseudonym is the Belarusian lyric rapper Anton Tabala, who, however, does not consider himself a rap musician.

Anton Tabala was born on December 26, 1989 in Minsk. There is no information about the early years of the singer's biography. According to fan sites, Anton has a sister, Lydia.

As a child, Anton had three hobbies - music, football and hockey. The latter brought the future musician to the Belarusian University of Physical Education, played Tabala for the Minsk clubs Dynamo-Keramin, Yunost, Metallurg (Zhlobin). Perhaps Tabala would have turned out to be a hockey coach, if not for the injury (according to another version, the rapper dropped out because he did not see further prospects).

Nobody was particularly upset about this, because what Homie is doing now is strikingly different from the first experiments. The nickname Homie, which means "friend" in translation, was invented by acquaintances from an international university where teaching is in English.

By the rapper's own admission, he took up music seriously in 2011. He has no special musical education, but he knows a little how to play the violin and piano.

For the first time, users of social networks met a musician with an exotic manner of performing rap. In the fall of 2016, Anton Tabala married Darina Chizhik, who starred in the video "Crazy to be the first". The girl came to Minsk from Kiev with her mother and sister, studied at the College of Technology as a fashion designer, at the University of Philosophy, and then at the Faculty of Journalism, but eventually completed design courses at the European Humanities University. Now Darina heads the fashion department at the Diva.by portal, founded her own clothing brand CHIZHIK, and works as a model. Homie's spouse generously shares his photos on the Instagram page.

In an interview, Anton admitted that he is also considering the possibility of releasing clothes under his own brand. In addition, I would like to open a hookah bar, because he loves this type of relaxation. The rapper prefers to spend his free time with his family in a restaurant serving Belarusian cuisine or watching matches of the English Football League.

As a child, he even received the nickname Crooked Legs, as he often missed the goal. Homie is not a fan of battles and does not plan to join any label, as he believes that "the free bird is better." From colleagues in the shop he singles out Oksimiron, Max Korzh, the Mushrooms group.

The couple has no children of their own yet, but in one of the interviews Anton said that he dreams of one child, and Darina - of two. In the meantime, since both love small dogs, they got a spitz named Chuck.

Despite the busy touring schedule, Anton is still worried before each appearance on the stage, overcomes his inner fear of public speaking. The musician posts the travel schedule on his personal page on Twitter.

2017 turned out to be fruitful for the musician. At home, the rapper was nominated for the award "Best Artist of the Year of Belarus", in the ranking a year earlier Anton took the third position. At the same time, the number of views of the video "Cocaine" increased to 15 million. For the new album, Homie canceled concerts that he had planned for the summer months. Two songs from the album are collaborations: "School" with Alexey Svik and "World of the Ideal" with Denis Ryder.
