When the boy was 8 years old, he happened to be auditioning for the local choir "Vesnyanka". The leaders immediately felt the potential in Sevidov and offered him to become one of the members of the musical group. For a whole year, the child was torn between playing tennis and singing. The parents, watching how hard it was for their son, suggested that he concentrate on one thing. Anton opted for music.

At the age of 9, the boy became a student of the experimental department of the Vladimir Stasov Music School, in which, in addition to classical subjects, he studied such directions as rock and jazz. It was there that he became interested in playing the synthesizer and composing his own compositions in parallel with piano and vocal lessons.

When Anton was 12 years old, he met the famous Soviet jazz musician Okun Mikhail Moiseevich and became his student. At the same time, Sevidov performed in the television program "Morning Star", where he performed compositions in the genre of soul jazz (Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder) and reached the final.

In 1994, the young man successfully passed the entrance exams at the State Musical College of Pop and Jazz Art for the keyboard department. At the educational institution, he created his first collective called Citric Acid, which performed in Moscow clubs and at jazz festivals.

When Anton was 16 years old, his father died tragically. And since his mother did not work, the young musician was forced to provide for his family, making arrangements for artists, DJing and performing jazz in local restaurants. Sevidov took the Grand Prix at the Crystal Note music competition in 1997, and spent $ 10 thousand donated to him on new equipment - a sampler and vinyl players.

A year later, the guy graduated from college with honors and at the same moment won the Grand Prix of another competition - "Crystal Tuning Fork" for the best jazz composition. Then Anton became a student at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, getting to the teacher Igor Bril. However, the young man never graduated from the university.

In 2002, Sevidov assembled a new team, "Neonaut", which included Boris Lifshits, Alexey Belyaev, Ilya Shapovalov and Nikolai Sarabyanov. They began giving concerts all over Russia and even performed at the popular Invasion festival. The band's creativity was not electronic, but acoustic, inspired by the songs of Muse and Radiohead.

A year after the formation of the "Neonauts", a great tragedy occurred in Anton's personal life - his mother died. The guy expressed his feelings in the lyrical composition "My Tear". Simultaneously with this sad event, the band's sound and style were transformed towards new wave and electronics of the 80s era. In 2005 the project was closed.

By 2007, Sevidov had collected a large number of unreleased songs, which he hastily began to record. The guy decided to name his new project Tesla Boy thanks to the imagination of one of his friends, who compared the musician with the physicist Nikola Tesla, and his music with electricity. The debut compositions were named Fire and Electric Lady.

Two years later, having teamed up with bassist Dmitry Gubnitsky and drummer Boris Lifshits, the musician gave the first open concert in the Moscow club Mio, after which a large number of people learned about the Tesla Boy group. Then they presented the mini-album of the same name, the recording of which was facilitated by the collaboration with the Mullet label from the UK. The band's tracks were often played on BBC radio stations.

In 2010, 2 new members joined the musical group - drummer Mikhail Studnitsyn and guitarist Konstantin Pokhvalin. With the updated line-up, Tesla Boy recorded and released the album Modern Thrills, presenting it at the Strelka club. The musicians started performing at festivals - Russian "Afisha Picnic", Serbian EXIT, Norwegian Insomnia. In addition, the group went on their debut tour in Barcelona.

The next 2 years were marked for the band by supporting performances for the popular British duo Hurts at concerts in Russia, a tour of Sweden and Finland, the release of Split and Fantasy tracks, as well as clips on them, participation in the New York Full Moon festival.

In 2013, Tesla Boy announced the release of a new music collection The Universe Made Of Darkness, which the band members presented at concerts in Russia, the USA, Ukraine and Mexico. In their home country, they embarked on a tour with the Australian band Cut Copy.

After 2 years, the musicians almost finished recording the songs on a new disc, but the leader of the band decided to freeze the album release process, as he considered it right to radically change the sound of the new compositions. A little later, Tesla Boy announced the single Nothing and embarked on a tour of the United States, which included visits to 4 cities - Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco and Portland.

On March 20, 2016, the electropop group performed with a big concert and an updated program at the Gogol Center. In the summer, she presented a new EP called Moses, consisting of 5 tracks. And on October 19, 2018, the musicians released their third studio album, Remedy, which was recorded for a year and a half in different parts of the world.

Previously, the girlfriend of a talented musician was DJ and model Dasha Malygina. The lovers even moved in in 2012, but living together did not strengthen the relationship, and the couple broke up. Also, the singer met with Karina Istomina, a journalist, model and DJ, but eventually broke up with her. After that, the girl wrote a heartbreaking article in which she told about how to survive all the stages of a difficult breakup.
