Anton Derov

Anton Vyacheslavovich Derov - artist and singer, was born in Moscow in Kuzminki in May 1968. His mother is an actress of the regional drama theater, who left the theater collective in the 90s and entered the Institute of Theology. After that she taught at Sunday schools in some churches in Moscow. The boy's father was a scientist physicist. When Anton was in school, his parents divorced. From childhood Anton grew up as a yard boy, spent all days in the company of friends and did little to study.

While still studying at the music institute, in 1992 Derov accepted an invitation from the creators of the first production in Russia of the rock opera "Jesus Christ Super Star", which took place at the Mossovet Theater. The play was directed by Pavel Chomsky, artistic director of the theater. In the play, Derov brilliantly performed the role of Judas Iscariot, which became his hallmark. In his third year at Gnesinka, Anton, at the invitation of his Polish colleagues, began work on the role of Caruso in the musical Metro and left Russia for a while.
