Our father has been going crazy lately, every time he gets drunk he starts saying the same things. Things from 30-40 years ago, who did something wrong or what did he do, and without stopping his record is 12 hours, then he sleeps all day while we are at work ... Every time we hear his mother call us a whore. Until 4-5 years ago it was not like that, more precisely, he got drunk 2-3 times a year and we could tolerate it. But he hasn't worked for a year and he wonders all day who to mess with, but because of the age (58) we don't want to work. We just wanted peace of mind, we all work and we want to take a shower, have dinner and sleep after we get home from work, that's it, but this crazy man is ruining us mentally. For 2 months he got drunk 5-6 times as you know and started singing the same thing all night. How many times have we asked him to stop, to find a hobby because he excused himself to drink because nerve pills were very expensive. A month ago he promised not to do so, yesterday too, he was drunk again tonight. We are tired, all the neighbors know what it is, we are ashamed to show ourselves outside. We have the feeling that we will go crazy and we are still young. We are facing a big dilemma, whether to turn to the police for help or to get everyone out of the house? To betray our own father and go to prison because only a warning will not startle him or to get away and he will go even further because he is still talking to himself and something will go to examine him. Tonight we threw away 10 liters of wine and 20 liters of brandy, I don't know what to do if he doesn't drink is a good person, we just want peace of mind without nerves and not money, but obviously something has to be done. What's the problem with age not sending it to work? Find him a quiet job, not to stay at home. As for his drunken behavior, you and your brother should, in the worst case, slap him and send him to sleep.
