Ukrainian singer Anna Korsun performs under this pseudonym. In 2019, the media began to discuss Anna's possible romance with a girl. The reason was the singer's passionate kiss with her dancer Olga Boyko right on the stage. In an interview with MARUV, she replied that it was not the first time she had kissed with representatives of the same sex, but she was not completely sure about being gay, because "I have not yet studied this side of myself."

In the year of foundation, the musicians won 1st place at the Pepsi Stars of Now competition, after which they began to write and perform original songs in the pop-rock genre. Soon the group and its charismatic soloist became so popular in Ukraine that in 2015 the children had the honor to represent Ukraine at the popular New Wave competition in Sochi.

And in 2016, Anna wrote an incendiary song "Easy to love", with which the group applied for participation in the national selection of "Eurovision-2016". The result was reaching the semifinals. Producer Konstantin Meladze assessed the performance of the guys as “stylish, fashionable, youthful”. In 2017, the soloist decided to move from Kharkov to Kiev.

In the capital, the artist began her creative life from scratch: she changed the composition of the musicians, changed the name to MARUV, announcing the new team as the heir to The Pringlez. And, of course, innovations have touched on music and repertoire.

The team members, led by Anna, decided to leave the old style and find something new - modern and in demand. In May 2017, the guys released their debut album "Stories". It includes 7 tracks in Ukrainian, Russian, English. In autumn, the team presented the disc in Kharkov. In the same autumn, Anna became a participant in the vocal reality show "X-Factor" (Ukraine), but did not reach the final, appearing in 8 issues of the 8th season.

After the TV project, the artist tried to cooperate with producer Yuri Nikitin, but it did not work out. According to the vocalist, this year was wasted, despair rolled over, I even wanted to give up everything. It was at this difficult moment that the girl met Mikhail Busin (DJ Boosin), who had already worked with such stars as Potap. Busin saw potential in the girl and offered to work together.

It was decided to move on in the electro-pop style. The first joint track of MARUV & BOOSIN was "Spinny". The premiere took place in September, and in October a beautiful video for this composition was released. But the real sensation was made by the video for the duo's new track - "Drunk Groove". It premiered on YouTube in March 2018. In the first six months alone, the clip gained about 50 million views. The song itself MARUV sang at the opening of the Muz-TV award ceremony in 2018.

At the same time, the singer officially announced that from now on MARUV is not a group, but a creative pseudonym under which she performs solo. Together with Mikhail Busin, Anna organized the sound production "Zori Sound". While on the basis of the label, besides the founders, there is also the singer Ruta.

On July 20, 2018, a video for the new composition "Focus on me" was released, after which the fans got a detailed idea of ​​the new music and the artist's image. As in the previous video, the singer, draped in latex, appears in a rather frank and provocative manner.

On September 28, after another single "I Used To Cry", MARUV's new album "Black Water" was released.

In August 2018, Anna Korsun in an interview with "Komsomolskaya Pravda" said that she was preparing several duets with foreign performers, organize an ultra-modern studio, go on a big concert tour, including across Russia, and then shoot clips with a good budget. On February 23, 2019 MARUV won the national selection for Eurovision-2019. The girl was recognized as the unconditional winner and the most suitable representative of Ukraine in Israel. However, two days later, MARUV reported that she was forced to abandon such an honorable mission.
