Biography
Anna Camp began by making herself known on American television by appearing in several series such as Cashmere Mafia, Glee, The Office (US) or Numb3rs. From 2009, the actress got the regular role of Sarah Newlin in the fantasy series True Blood. For six years, the young woman is therefore required alongside Anna Paquin as one of the stars of the program which opens the doors of Hollywood to her. Her character of a conservative human opposing vampires immediately became cult for fans of the series.
It was in 2011, with The Color of Sentiments directed by Tate Taylor, that Anna Camp received her first film role. As a racist and conservative housewife in the America of the 1960s, she replies to a large number of American actresses such as Viola Davis, Bryce Dallas Howard and Jessica Chastain. The following year, she is again part of a very feminine cast as we see her in the hit comedy The Hit Girls by Jason Moore where she again plays a rather unpleasant character since she is Aubrey, the tyrannical leader. of the Bellas group.
Along with her roles in the cinema and the one she plays in True Blood, Anna Camp continues her breakthrough on American television by multiplying appearances in series. She thus interprets more or less important characters as well in Mad Men as in the judicial series The Good Wife or How I met your mother.
In 2015, True Blood stops and Anna Camp has to say goodbye to the character she played for six seasons. It does not take long, however, to receive proposals at the cinema, whether in the independent film Goodbye to all that directed by Angus MacLachlan but especially in Pitch Perfect 2 in which she finds her friends from the first film but this time directed by the actress Elizabeth Banks.
