Aniuar Geduev is a Russian wrestler, silver medalist of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, gold winner of the European Games in Baku, Honored Master of Sports.

Aniuar Geduev was born on January 26, 1987 in Kabardino-Balkaria. Aniuar is a Kabardian by nationality. He began to practice freestyle wrestling at the age of 11. The boy was brought to the first training session by his elder brother Alim. The first sparring ended for Aniuar with a fracture of his right arm. But the injury did not stop Geduev. The first coach of the athlete Arsen Khasanov immediately saw talent in the boy. The mentor told Aniuar's family that people like him are born one in a thousand.
