Anemone

Daughter of a psychoanalyst, Anne Bourguignon, a rebellious teenager, is expelled from the private high school Notre-Dame-des-Invalides where she played the Virgin Mary as part of an end-of-year show. She then frequents the heralds of the counter-culture that are Marc'O or Philippe Garrel. This makes her shoot her first film, Anemone (1968), a title that will become her stage name - we will find her later in another film imbued with the spirit of 68, The Witness Couple. After a detour to Reims, where she took comedy lessons from Robert Hossein, she embarked on the café-theater within the Veuve Pichard, a troupe founded in 1975 by former members of the Café de la Gare.

Chaining in the cinema the supporting comic roles, Anémone is noticed in 1980 in I will crack !!! by François Leterrier. The year 1982 marked a turning point in her career, as she found herself starring in four successful films: unforgettable Thérèse, as kind as she was stuck, in Father Christmas is a junk, she reveled in playing the seductive godiches in Come home, I live with a friend, My wife is called come back, and The American Quarter Hour, alongside the Splendid gang. Appreciated for her fantasy (The Marriage of the Century), she surprises as an introverted neighbor in Péril en la abode, and moves like a peasant in Le Grand Chemin (1987), even landing a Caesar for this role that she "forgets" to recover.

Refusing to play the star system game, Anémone then appears in comedies with a more personal tone, signed by filmmakers like Romain Goupil (Mum) and especially Tonie Marshall, who entrusts her with beautiful characters of liberated woman in Not very Catholic (1994) and Children of a bastard. And it is another actress-director, Christine Pascal, who offers Anemone one of her most striking roles, that of the mother of a seriously ill girl in Le Petit prince a dit (1992). From the end of the 90s, the actress appeared in several period films, from Le Cri de la Soie to Lautrec, and in some contemporary comedies (Voisins, Neighborines, La Jungle), but mainly devoted to in theater and citizen fights.
