When Sokolov graduated from school, his mother persuaded him to get a technical profession. The guy applied to the Moscow Aviation Technological Institute, but failed in the exams. The happy acquaintance with the KGB colonel allowed the guy to forget about financial difficulties for a while: he got a job in a secret printing house, at the same time not ceasing to prepare for admission.

The next year, Andrei easily passed the exams at the Moscow Aviation Institute and became a student. He studied and worked, and soon his peers and classmates got a reason for envy: the guy got his first Zhiguli car. In 1986, Sokolov became a certified mechanical engineer, but did not go to work in his specialty, but went to the exams at the theater school named after I. Shchukin, where he entered the course to Lyudmila Stavskaya.

Among other things, the young man managed to study at the correspondence department at the Institute of Foreign Languages. After completing his studies, Andrei sat down at his desk again in the mid-90s, this time as a student of the Higher Courses for Directors and Screenwriters.

After finishing "Pike" Andrei Sokolov was accepted into the troupe of "Lenkom", in which he serves to this day. In 1991, the actor was involved in the main cast of two performances at once - "Hamlet" and "Juno and Avos". He also played in many other theater productions.
