Soon Andrei realized that he wanted to take up music. In 1989, the young man, together with his comrades Oleg Bashkov (Olen) and Pavel Galkin (Mutabor), created the Oak Gaai collective. And soon the scandalous group "Bachelor Party" appeared on the music arena, one of the members of which was Dolphin. The producer of the collective was Alexey Adamov.

It was a sexual revolution in music. The guys sang such provocative songs that literally "Bachelor Party" shook the foundations of Russian show business. The most popular songs of the group are "Sex-control", "Sex without interruption", "I love people", "Skittles".

In 1992, in parallel with "Bachelor Party", Dolphin recorded three albums at once as a part of "Oak Gaaya" - "Suicidal Disco", Stop Killing Dolphins and "Blue Lyrics No. 2". The creativity of this group is very different from the "Bachelor Party". Here, the lyrics are dominated by themes of the inevitability of fate, thoughts of suicide and drugs, and the music breathes with depression and calmness.

In 1996 Dolphin left the "Bachelor Party" and "Oak Gaai" and decided to pursue a solo career. He creates two different musical projects - "Misha Dolphins" and Dolphin.

Andrei and Mikhail Voinov were included in the Mishin Dolphins. The guys recorded only one album "Toys" and gave only one concert. But the Dolphin project exists to this day. His first album, Out of Focus, was recorded in 1997. According to music critics, this Dolphin disc can be considered the greatest in the history of Russian rap at the end of the 90s.

His second album, Depth of Field, became a kind of sequel to Out of Focus. It was also created using samples of famous songs. The album sold out in large numbers and was the beginning of dolphin addiction.

Clips were shot for the songs "Love", "I will live" and "Door". They all hit the MTV rotation. A year later, the album "Fins" is recorded, but it does not receive a response and recognition from the audience.
