In 1991, Andrei dreamed of entering a music school, but the admissions committee considered that the guy did not look organically enough on stage. He applied to the pedagogical institute, but could not enter there either - a bad grade in Ukrainian literature prevented. Then the future pop star applied to a vocational school for the specialty of a cashier-seller. The guy also wanted to try to enter the Kharkov Theater Institute, but missed the train and abandoned his dream.

In 1995, Andrei again tries to continue his studies, having passed exams at the variety and circus school in the city of Kiev. Studying was not easy for the artist, he often argued with teachers. Not finding a common language with the teachers, after a year and a half Danilko was expelled as a hopeless student. The artist entered the Kiev National University of Art and Culture, which he successfully graduated from.

Andrei created the character Verka Serduchka, while still a schoolboy, in 1990. The heroine's surname appeared thanks to her excellent classmate Anna Serdyuk, whom the guy promised to glorify throughout the country, but the name came from the colorful school cleaner Vera. In 1992 Danilko presented the first two miniatures "Dining room" and "Provodnitsa", thanks to which he was invited to tour the Stavropol Territory.

In 1993, the guy first appeared in the form of the notorious Verka Serduchka at the Yumorina festival in his hometown. His act "The Conductor" and the image of Serduchka immediately fell in love with the public, while Andrei also played the roles of a policeman, soldier, teacher and ballerina.

The artist founded the Danilko Theater and together with him participated in humorous festivals in the CIS countries, where he achieved considerable success. The popularity of Verka Serdyuchka grew, and in 1994 the first article about him was published in a regional newspaper.
