Therefore, Victoria had no doubts that Andrei should embody the main character of her film. The boy was given a difficult task, because the plot of "Soldier" is based on real events. It tells the story of the young Sergei Alyoshkov, who lost his parents during the Second World War, but was picked up by partisans and became the adopted child of a nurse and an officer. He had to go through the hardships of wartime together with adults, for which he was awarded a medal for military merit.

Andreev had to show his acting skills in order to believably embody the little folk hero. In this, the boy was helped by already experienced artists Viktor Dobronravov and Daria Ursulyak, who played his adoptive parents - commander Kuznetsov and nurse Katya. They shared advice and supported their young colleague on the set.

In an interview for Tula Izvestia, Victoria Fanasyutina said that the performer was collected and serious on the site, could concentrate and remain attentive for a long time. The process of working on the film took place in Belarus, where it rained constantly during this period. But Andrey was ready to perform any tasks of the director and endured adversity steadfastly, even agreed to walk barefoot through the swamps.

It is not surprising that he managed to make his character so brave and determined beyond his years, but at the same time, childishly kind and sincere. The audience at the premiere were fascinated by the child, and critics said that he had a great acting future.

After that, "Soldier" was shown at several Russian film festivals, including "The Male Role" named after Ivan Mozzhukhin and "Cinema for Children", and the young performer of the lead role had to get used to the attention of numerous fans and journalists.
