Once I persuaded a nanny from a kindergarten, where I went for five days, to bring her home. This character, which in the course of many hours of daily training only hardened, helped Nastya to climb the prize steps of the podium, first in local competitions, and then international.

However, the childhood of a young figure skater consisted not only of moments related to sports. Grandfather - a big fan of books - taught his granddaughter to read. Tatyana Ivanovna, working as a make-up artist, often took her daughter to the shooting. At one such trip, Nastya met Lyudmila Markovna Gurchenko.

From the age of 11, Nastya learned what a healthy passion for sports and a spirit of competition is - she began to participate in international tournaments, go to training camps abroad. At 12 she finally chose the direction in figure skating, in which she would develop - ice dancing.

The skater's coach was Natalya Dubovaya, who initiated Nastya's move to America. And at the age of 13, the girl with the coach went to train overseas. Grebenkina began her studies, everything was fine, but an independent adult life away from mom and friends, someone else's mentality, a lack of understanding of the coach turned out to be too difficult for Nastya, and she returned to Moscow.

However, as it turned out, not for long. Soon there was again an offer to travel. This time to Latvia. Nastya liked this: after all, it was only an hour and a half flight from Moscow to Riga. Nastya got a good partner, with whom they played for the Latvian national team at international competitions for a year and a half.

In 1996, after her partner left for coaching, Nastya returned to Moscow. The new partner of the skater is 18-year-old Vazgen Azroyan. The couple studied with the coach Svetlana Alekseeva and immediately showed an excellent result - fourth place in the Russian Championship. Until 1998, Nastya and Vazgen played for Russia, then the duet broke up. Vazgen went to train in America, and Nastya skated in a duet with Vitaly Novikov for two seasons.

Only in 2003 did the Grebenkina-Azroyan pair unite again to perform under the flag of Armenia. The partners became champions of the country three times, and they were the first in the history of Armenia to win the Grand Prix in figure skating.

In 2006, the athletes took part in the Turin Olympics, where they took 20th place.
