Hello, I am a woman almost 21 years old. A few days ago I received a smear test and HPV. It turned out that I have HPV 6, HPV 16, inflammation and mild dysplasia (CIN1 abnormal cells). I dug around on the internet and HPV 6 is safe, but it causes papillomas (which I can't get rid of, even though they have been burned twice with medical electricity and I smeared them with Aldara), and HPV 16 is high risk. Dysplasia is a precancerous condition. I don't stop crying. I was always careful, I checked myself and I was in good health and a mistake with a person irresponsible to his own health turned out to be fatal. I am alone now, I don't know if I will ever find someone to accept me in this way, and even if I did, I would never pass on my illness to anyone else. Do I have a chance to heal completely and my body to deal with the viruses? I'm still young, only child and granddaughter, I always wanted to start a nice family and have many children. Now I do not know if this is possible, what manipulations they will do to me, whether it will affect my fertility, whether it can develop into cervical cancer. I am out of the country, it will be possible for me to visit a doctor in about 10 days and everything I read on the internet drives me crazy. Please help me who is aware of this virus or has personally experienced something like this. Thanks in advance! :( what i read on the internet drives me crazy. Many people have the human papilloma virus and are alive and well. In the sense that they did not die. Medicine is constantly evolving, so you are not doomed. Men are often carriers, but they rarely get sick, maybe not at all, not even. So you have nothing to explain what you have or don't have. Find a trusted qualified gynecologist, talk seriously, ask all your questions. In general, whether you will get a virus depends on your immune system. You can be a carrier, but not get sick. To do this, strengthen the immune system, beware of other viruses, and there are preparations for this purpose.
