The parents decided to send the talented child to the capital to study. In 1994, Alisher left school in his hometown and entered the Republican Musical Lyceum named after Glier, choosing the specialization of dutarist. Dutar is a national two-stringed plucked instrument, difficult to master and requiring an individual approach to playing technique. The young man studied at the Lyceum for 7 years, earning the most flattering reviews from teachers and, of course, parting words about continuing education.

From 2001 to 2005, Alisher studied at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan. During this period, the talented student was noticed by the People's Artist of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov. He was interested in this shy, modest guy with such a wide range of vocal possibilities, and he began to invite Alisher to joint rehearsals and performances. In a word, Nazarbekov became a mentor for the guy, or, as they respectfully say in the East, an ustoz.

On May 15-16, 2005, Ozodbek presented the protégé at his solo concert. Alisher's vocal debut was the song "Meni kechir" ("Forgive me"). Two years later, the artist released his first studio album "Ko'ngil istab" under the pseudonym Faiz, which means "blessed" in Uzbek.

With the light hand of the master and thanks to the bright repertoire, Alisher Faiz quickly became popular among young people: the singer relied on fiery rhythms, thanks to which his songs became favorite at noisy Uzbek weddings and other celebrations.

Soon the artist began touring the republic, simultaneously filming videos, photo shoots and working on the next disc. Success allowed Faiz to collect his first solo concert already 3 years after his debut. On May 21-22, 2008 in the largest and most prestigious hall of Uzbekistan - the Istiklol Palace of Arts - he presented a concert program “Umidim sen sen ...”, which was warmly received by the fans.

Since then, giving solo albums in May has become the musician's creative tradition. So, in 2009 he presented the program "Nigohingga ol" to the audience, in 2010 - "Senga talpinib", in 2011 - "Yaxshiyam siz bor", etc. In 2012, in the creative biography of Alisher Faiz, there was a significant event: he was awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan".

In 2017, the tenth anniversary concert of the artist took place on the stage of the Istiklol Palace, which was held in the format of a large bright show. Uzbek pop stars, including his mentor Ozodbek Nazarbekov, came to congratulate the singer. That evening, the hero of the day performed the most famous hits: "Asal Onam", "Eslab Tur" and others.

The famous singer has been happily married for many years. His wife has nothing to do with the scene. The couple is raising three children: the son of Khalidbek, the daughters of Zinnurakhon and Shirin.
