Oleksiy Agopyan is a Ukrainian actor who is loved by viewers for his comedic roles in the humorous projects "Pun" and "Masks Show", as well as the dramatic image of a bard from the TV series "Mysterious Passion", the prototype of which was Bulat Okudzhava.

Alexey Migranovich Agopyan was born in Odessa in 1960. Artistry and a sense of humor were inherent in Alexei from birth. While still at the institute, Alexei Agopyan became interested in playing KVN. Here, on the first attempt, he entered the renowned LGITMiK and was enrolled in a course with the People's Artist of the USSR Igor Petrovich Vladimirov.

On the second round, unexpectedly for Alexei, the master asked him to sing his song "Scows Full of Mullets" from the repertoire of Mark Bernes. Agopyan entered the Leningrad Theater Institute not alone, but together with friends and fellow countrymen Dmitry Shevchenko and Yuri Stytskovsky. All three are famous artists today.

After graduating from LGITMiK, Agopyan and Stytskovsky created a comic duet, which they called "Sweet Life". The duo's performances were in great demand. Once the artists were invited to take part in the popular group "Masks". Agopyan and Stytskovsky liked them and in the early 90s were accepted into the team.
