Biography
From the age of 13, Alexandra Breckenridge participated in plays, before trying her luck in Los Angeles. Like many other comedians of his generation, his career began with multiple appearances in series for teenagers in the 2000s: Dawson, Freaks & Geeks or Opposite Sex. Attracted by gender series, the young woman tries it out with Charmed and Buffy the vampire slayer.
This experience gives her access to film sets: in Naughty Liar, she plays the big sister of the hero Jason Shepherd (Frankie Muniz), then rubs shoulders with Amanda Bynes and Channing Tatum on the sets of the romantic comedy She's the Man. At the same time, Alexandra Breckenridge adds a new string to her bow by lending her voice to the animated series The Griffins and American Dad!
In 2007, she played Willa McPherson, assistant to Lucy (Courteney Cox), cynical editor-in-chief of a tabloid newspaper, in the two seasons of Dirt. Alexandra Breckenridge takes part in a few episodes of Life Unexpected (2010) and True Blood (2011), before showrunner Ryan Murphy offers her the role of Moira O'Hara, the sulphurous ghost house in the first season of American Horror Story.
2015 is the year of horror and thriller for the young woman who connects films of the genre (Zipper, Always Watching: A Marble Hornets Story, Dark ...) before discovering the universe of The Walking Dead, in the skin by Jessie Anderson. Girlfriend of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) who encourages him to get rid of her abusive husband, her character is recurring in seasons 5 and 6. With this exposure, her projects lead her to the CBS production, Pure Genius (2016 ), a medical drama created by Jason Katims.
