Russian athlete Alexander Ustinov is well known to lovers of Thai boxing and kickboxing. The man more than once became the winner of major international competitions, won first places at world championships. Most of the boxer's fights ended in knockouts for his rivals. Alexander was born in the village of Pautovo in the Altai Territory in the winter of 1976, where the first years of his biography passed. Already in his school years, the boy began to show interest in sports, at that time he was fond of table tennis, hockey and football.

In 2013, Alexander took 6th place in the IBF rating after a victorious fight with David Tua, and a year later he signed a contract with a promotion company created by Vladimir Khryunov. Already under the auspices of the new promotion in 2015, the boxer defeated Travis Walker, and in a duel with Maurice Harris won the WBA International Heavyweight Championship.

Then he had a victory over Constantin Airich and Rafael Zumbana. And then the man had a series of losses. It all started with a fight with Syrian Manuel Charr, who knocked down his opponent in the 8th round and became the owner of the WBA world heavyweight title by a decision.

Another unsuccessful fight awaited the Russian in November 2018, his opponent was American Michael Hunter, who, having defeated Ustinov, took the WBA International heavyweight champion title. In May 2019, Alexander lost again in a battle with Briton Joe Joyce.

Not much is known about the boxer's personal life, but in an interview, the man said that he has a wife. He met his future wife in Minsk, she is Belarusian, and the family lives there now.
