Alexander Vladimirovich Samarin was born in Moscow on June 15, 1998. The parents of the future skater are also athletes, albeit not so famous: the mother was engaged in swimming, and the father was engaged in many sports at the same time. The breakthrough in the skater's career was a small silver medal at the 2016 World Junior Championships, which he earned for his short program.
