Alexander Metelkin is a rising star in Russian theater and cinema. It is curious that Sasha's namesake and namesake shone in Soviet cinema, whose biography ended at the age of 27. Now a native of Berezniki, Alexander Metelkin, plays in the Russian mini-football league.

After the army, Metelkin entered the Moscow Art Theater School. According to the artist, he learned one poem and half of the prose text in the belief that the selection committee would notice his talent. And so it happened. Alexander was taken on his course by the actor and director Viktor Ryzhakov, who has headed the Sovremennik Theater since January 2020.

At the institute, Metelkin became serious and read books that he neglected at school. In his third year, Alexander performed in the capital of North Ossetia, and after the performance in front of the audience, among whom were the hostages of the Beslan terrorist attack of 2004, he realized that the main thing for an actor was mutual understanding with the audience.

After high school, Metelkin was accepted into the troupe of the Taganka Theater. Alexander's repertoire includes performances for both adults and children. In each production of The Master and Margarita, the guy plays two roles at once - Koroviev and the doctor. In The Old Old Tale, Alexander takes turns with the actor Anton Anurov to transform into a soldier or a guard.

Metelkin's favorite roles are Vassenka in "The Eldest Son" by Alexander Vampilov and Treplev in "Seagull 73458". In 2017, the actor made his screen debut in the film version of Chekhov's play. The role of Arkadina in the film, as well as in the play, was played by Irina Apeksimova.

Little is known about the personal life of the actor, whose height is 183 cm. Alexander is married and has a son. On the day of the Airborne Forces, a photo of the Metelkin family in vests appeared on the actor's Instagram page.
