Aleksandr Lominskiy

Alexander Lominsky doesn't follow trends. Thanks to his honest manner of performance, soulful lyrics and bright melody, his songs are loved by millions of chanson fans.

Alexander was born on January 9, 1974 in the south of Ukraine, in Odessa. The family of the future singer was not connected with creativity - his father served in the military, and his mother, a lawyer, worked in the civil service. In 1979 the family moved to Germany, where they lived for 6 years. There, the future singer, like many children of the 80s, was sent to a music school to learn to play the piano. Alexander has an older sister, Elena Voinarovskaya, now known as the vocalist of the Flëur group.

In 1985, upon his return from Germany to Odessa, Alexander studied at the secondary school No. 55 and at the same time joined the Black Sea Flotilla of young sailors.

At the age of 12, the boy, together with his friends, founded the rock group "Cabinet of Ministers". The guys performed covers of foreign hits and songs of their own composition. After the prom, the group broke up, but it was an experience that helped Alexander to take an important step in his biography - to start studying vocals professionally.

At the age of 15, the future singer began to study with one of the best teachers of jazz vocal in Odessa, Tatyana Boeva, with whom the singer's mother was familiar. Once upon a time, women lay together in the same ward of the hospital.

From 1989 to 1991, Alexander studied at the conductor and choir department of the Odessa Musical College. After graduation, the guy entered the Odessa State University and in 1996 received a law degree. In 1996, the singer moved to Kiev to study at the capital's University of Culture and Arts. After graduation in 2000, Lominsky moved to Moscow.

Lominsky's professional career began with the creation of the BLL group in 1990. The musicians gave concerts in Ukraine, Bulgaria, Poland. Then the group broke up, and Alexander became a member of the Odessa boy band Lomy Lom and The Project, which by 1996 had gained wide popularity and recognition in Odessa.

By 1997, five guys from Lomy Lom and The Project moved to Kiev, began performing on the big stage, and a year later they received the title of the best musical group in Ukraine. The collective has released two records. Hits "Panama", "You are gone", "More" occupied leading positions in the charts.

At the height of his fame in 2000, Lominsky disbanded the group to pursue a solo career. In the same year, on the advice of Konstantin Meladze, Alexander went to Moscow, having in his arsenal several works of authorship. At first, I had to face financial difficulties. The producers liked both the singer and his records, but they were in no hurry to invest their money.

Until 2007, the musician performed at corporate parties and worked on his first solo album. From 2008 to 2010, the hits "Midnight", "Stolen Happiness", "Forever" and "You Know" were released. 2010 will be remembered for participation in the final of the EUROVOICE-2010 song contest and for the debut concert in the capital of Russia. Since 2011, Lominsky's hits have entered the rotation of Radio Chanson.

On March 15, 2012, Alexander's first solo album "You Know" was released, consisting of 14 tracks. In October of the same year, the singer shot a video for the song “I'm just crazy about you,” directed by the famous Ukrainian video maker Alan Badoev.

In 2013, the musician, in a duet with Tatyana Bulanova, recorded the song “Never Say Never”, which managed to hold out for two months on the first lines of the Golden Gramophone hit parade. In 2014, the singer's discography was replenished with the album "This is Me", consisting of 15 songs.

In 2017, the third album "One in a Billion" was released, consisting of 12 tracks. Now Alexander Lominsky travels with concerts in the CIS countries, shoots videos and annually performs in the concert program "Chanson TV at the Slavianski Bazaar" in Vitebsk.

The singer, who does not hide his personal life, was previously credited with an affair with Alena Vodonaeva, but this turned out to be a rumor.

On September 2, 2016, the musician married Kaisheva Marina. The couple are raising four children: Timofey (2004) and Stephanie (2009), born in Alexander's first marriage, and the sons of Dmitry (2003) and Vladimir (2010), who appeared in the first marriage of his wife Marina.

In 2019, the musician presented to the public a new song "Swans" and a joint work "Don't wait", recorded with Athena.

He tours a lot in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and actively maintains a page on Instagram, where photos with other stars and news about upcoming interviews and concerts appear.
