On the ninth day of October 1968, in the small Ukrainian town of Gorlovka, the first-born son, named Sasha, was born in the family of a miner (and part-time football player) and a pastry chef. Soon the parents divorced, and the mother had to put the boys on their feet alone - Alexander has a younger brother Sergei. The three of them moved to Noyabrsk, where Dyumin graduated from the eight-year school, and later returned to their homeland.
The chanson singer claimed that thanks to his father he developed a craving for this genre - Vasily Yakovlevich was heard by Vladimir Vysotsky, Alexander Shevalovsky, nicknamed Omsky Vysotsky, Vladimir Shandrikov.

In 1998, the musician's debut album "Convoy" was released, the manner of performance of which could not be confused with anyone else, and the words from "Trash", "Cranes" and "Bondage" were instantly remembered.
