When we were students, if a classmate had to operate on him, he was released from physical education for 6 months. I had an operation more than two years ago and they told me the same thing - I have to be careful for 6 months, not to lift heavy, not to run and not to jump. However, after the second week I felt very well, there was not a gram of pain and I went to discos and work, although I had to stay at home for another 2 weeks (I work on the 4th floor, in a building without an elevator and I had to I go down and up these stairs at least 4 times). As a result, there is an adhesion of tissues, which is not dangerous, but it is uncomfortable, because with certain movements, stretching or abrupt straightening, a cutting pain appears, located just below the scar. It's in seconds and then you forget, but it's there and I don't know how much longer I'll remind you, that I had to protect myself for a longer time. So my advice is to follow these 6 months, during which time you can walk for example more, to take non-strenuous walks, to do exercises, which, however, do not strain the abdominal muscles, so that there are no unpleasant consequences.

See a friend. It is best to consult your GP, or read in some in some forum. I heard that it is right to wait a while :). Don't worry just be more patient: p.
