Biography
Aditya Assarat has a master's degree from the University of Southern California. He started by making short films that have been presented in many festivals such as Clermont-Ferrand, Sundance or the New York Film Festival. In 2004, he was invited to participate in Director's Lab at Sundance, a testing ground for up-and-coming filmmakers around the world. In 2005, he was chosen to collaborate for a year with Mira Nair as part of the Rolex Artistic Mentorship Program. In 2007 his first feature film Wonderful Town received support from the Hubert Bals fund.
