Uh, I've been running for about 4 years, I don't play sports when it's -5 outside, it's bad for my lungs, it can cause pain from there.

Number 1 - I have been running for 4 years. I run 12-13 kilometers in my best shape, and when I'm out of shape 7 kilometers. First, it is not recommended for the lungs to run at temperatures -5. Second, if you breathe only through the nose, you are harassing your body. Only sprinters breathe through the nose, and here we are talking about long distances. Otherwise, you are right about the pain in your legs, especially if you run on asphalt. My feet are sore sometimes from running.

From the author: I breathe from both mouth and nose. : D As for the temperatures - even if it's -10 degrees, I can't sit at home, I want to play sports because I can't stand my body. Thanks anyway. :)

Breathe evenly, in rhythm with running as a start and do not overload. Next time, run slower, rest, keep walking and breathing evenly, do not stop to take a deep breath. Try to see which rhythm will be most suitable for the body and you will improve over time. Success!

For me, this pain is very common and I even thought it was normal, but sometimes a little walking hurts me terribly and I can not even walk, because at every step, I am stabbed "knives" in the kidneys and pi-up from them.

From n. 5, I looked that maybe it is not well understood, I mean do not stop completely while training, it is better to walk and breathe evenly, not deeply.

This pain is the so-called "running crisis". I train athletics. It usually hurts when I warm up with 5-6 laps. If you can bear the pain, don't stop for 2-3 minutes, it gradually disappears, but walking until it passes is also an option :)

This pain is caused by improper breathing, it is different for each person, but over time you will get used to it. Try to inhale deeply through the nose, take 2 or 3 steps and exhale through the mouth. I think this will help you. :))

Hello author, I have been playing sports for 8, 5 years. I do about 16 km in one workout. Sometimes I have the same pain you talk about - about 2 times a month. When you run how you breathe - through your mouth or nose. Sometimes when you breathe through your mouth, this pain appears. Besides, you may not like the cold. I don't want to scare you, but after a month of training your legs will start to hurt. This lasts about 2 months. Then you can just forget about the pain. Try running by breathing only through your nose.
